I had trouble with mine unpairing, once, but paired it right back up. Haven't had any trouble since. Maybe an update soon? I haven't heard anything yet.

I had trouble with mine the second time out with the D2. No matter what I did I could not get it to pair up in the field.
I took a break and sat in the truck and reviewed the pairing procedure with my cell phone. Still would not pair up. It was like it was already paired but not being seen.
Also read that if you have EMI it might not pair up.
So at home I researched it. I saw a video on line that had you hold the Pin Pointer button for eight seconds to reset the pin pointer. - PP will makes a sound. Then shut off the pin pointer and turn it on to pair it again with the D2.
That worked and the controller acknowledged the pin pointer.
I was out the following weekend and everything worked like it should.

I love my TRX but with Whites gone….Needless to say mine gets treated with kid gloves.
I hear yah!----I loaded up on them when Whites went out.----Got six of them----my wife detects also & we both use the TRXs.----Think (hope) they will last us the rest of our detecting career.
