Deus callous

Ism

Well-known member
Does anybody else have the Deus callous on their thumb?
This is from over 10 years of using the Deus 1 and 2 but probably got it after using it the first year.
My gloved grip hand slips forward where my thumb rubs on the shaft mounted remote while swinging.

That’s new one, you would think the constant rubbing would push the control up and off the stem after all this time. Which you don’t want to happen for sure.
Should be easy to remedy by moving the stem further up above the thumb, just an inch or so, so the control clears your grip.

Oh man lawsuit lol try wrapping tennis racket tape on the handle I use it better grip and my hand does not slide.

Actually, I have just enough grip to hold the handle but not so much that my hand gets fatigued. I think my hand tends to walk/inch forward vs slipping.
The pressure on the back of my thumb is not much, but just enough to rub slightly. It doesn't put enough pressure on the remote to pop it off the shaft.
I have tried raising the shaft a little but that becomes uncomfortable because my grip wants to work its way forward all the way to the shaft.
It's mostly unnoticeable until I've been swinging for more than an hour. That's when I will start resetting my grip due to irritation. Could it just be a left-handed thing?
Just thought it would be an interesting topic for the forum.
