Deus 2 lower frequencies not able to find

I have the Deus 2, 2.0 software and just want to check with you operators more knowledgeable than me with this question. In all the Deus 2 programs with the exception of the mono program I only have a choice of using 3 frequencies. Under frequency max in menu, I see a choice of 14, 24 and 40 Khtz. Any one program I can change these but can only use any one of those 3 as that particular programs' max frequency. I thought I would be able to drop down in frequency and use 8 and 4Khtz. But won't allow it. Is this functioning correctly? Thank you, Steve

The Frequency section of the manual (page 1) says those are the only max frequency options.

At a guess, I am thinking it has to do with the available multi frequency ranges. If you drop the max frequency too far, there may not be enough frequency ranges to allow multi frequency operation with however they have configured the software. At that point, you can switch to the mono frequency program.

If you select Max 14khz then you'll be utilizing freqs 4khz - 14khz focusing on high conductors. To narrow it down any more than that, go single freq in mono.

I tried using Max Freq at 14 and EMI was bad. Also did not separate as much as I wanted. Settled on Max Freq at 24. There is a Video on Youtube that shows what two Freq Deus 2 uses when set like this. Be aware that changing these Freq will drastically change TID numbers meaning your notch setting may be way off.

Yes, that's what it appears to be. Anyone of the Deus 2 programs except mono, you can only use one of those 3 frequencies as the max for that particular program. 14,24, or 40 Khtz. You are not allowed to drop lower than the 14Khtz. Thank you, gentleman, for the explanation and assurance. HH. Steve
