deteknix wireless?

Well that stinks.. I will just stick to wired headphones.. And not use headphones in extremely hot weather like always..

I think i will to until someone gets the wireless tech for metal detectors down, sunray ,detector pro?

Are they powering off because the receiving unit is losing contact with the transmitting unit? That's a problem with some of the wireless options out there; you have to keep the headphones fairly close to the detector.

No these were powering off while swinging detector.. After swinging for 15 feet and no targets i would wave my ring over coil and get nothing but silence. Lol so after several times i wiped them off boxed them up and back they went.. Wired works fine

I'm thinking that the wireless handshake is dropping after a period of time if you don't have a threshold tone.

It's more than that as I had the same problem with both the etrac and CTX which both run thresholds and is what told me the connection had failed. A person could hunt for a while on clean ground without knowing it otherwise. I have no problem giving them a second chance to demonstrate the products advantages to me and should have another pair this week . Two year warranty. If they can work the bugs out they will be far better than the Rapoos

The problem is from the manufacturer (Chinese factory that manufactures wireless headphones) they put fake processors of Texas Instruments - CC8530, CC8531 .
Even if you replace the wireless headphones from new set they will work the same way, will exclude no reason. And this is not due to a lack of sound, or that the two devices are far from each other.

Second pair was a bust....what a shame! Great potential product that is going to end up causing a lot of people including Deteknix a lot of headaches

Even 100xheadphones you can change problem will remain, everybody wants to make big sales with Chinese junk

The problem can be solved only if Deteknix replace Chinese fakes processors with original made in USA !

they work ok but i am having trouble with the TX battery not having much of a charge ,after 15 minutes it conks out dead.IMO its the magnnetic charging point which loses contact. they didnt use a mini USB charge point on the TX

Sorry, this post was meant for the Deteknix Forum posting -- I ended up here, same subject, and glad I did, a lot of info I never saw before. Still, same question, can this
wireless unit be used with different wireless headphones?

I see a different set of wireless headphones in the heading at the top of this forum from those shown in the next picture showing a different headphone?
Does this mean you can use different wireless headphones?
Also, can this wireless set be used for listening to music, say, on a laptop or player? Making it a dual purpose wireless setup?

I got my new Deteknix wireless headphones for (a pre-)Father's Day gift last night and had them out for four and a half hours today. They've worked flawlessly so far. I fully charged them before I used them the first time and I'm recharging them now from today's hunt. I hope they continue to work as flawlessly as my Deteknix pinpointer has for the last year and a half. I have to admit, it was a joy wearing the Deteknix wireless headphones while using my E-Trac today in the 90+ degree heat today, my Sun-Ray Pro Golds I truly love, but they get a little hard to wear in this kind of heat.
