Sorry never used these on the X-terra i used the TDK WR700 on mine never had a problem had to get a large to small leads adapter to plug the transmitter in and i use to poke the transmitter underneath the control box cover. I still have the phones and my X-terra that i lent to my brother to use, that now seems to be a permanent loan
