I have been watching paystreak super freaks video's now for over 2 years , i used to like watching them , but lately the guy seems to be posting garbage video's.
The guy seems to be loosing his mind big time. The calabash digger Guy has also started posting video's that in my opinion prove nothing much at all about which detector
is the best. His latest Video's Manticore vs D2 have proved nothing at all to prove which is best.

Well when I get my MC I will put it up against the 800 in the fields and home sites and do a comparison video. I'm not going to buy and 900 and MC. Been swinging minicabs for at least 20 years so we shall see. I'll post that video on my YouTube when ever I get one. I don't expect one till after the first of the year. Guess you gotta be a big YouTuber to get one.... According to CB Minelab sent him 1 for free.

You really have to take all those videos with a grain of salt , watch them for entertainment if that appeals to you. Personally , I see little value in watching a video where the bottom third of the screen is blocked out by the testers pot belly or the accent makes the verbiage indecipherable . A manufacturer's first PR move is to get the testers people seem to follow and "respect" on their companies payroll and then dictate what they can say and release about a detectors performance. Virtually all these individuals have an ulterior motive whether promoting a particular product or gratifying their ego. Do your own diligence

Calabash a few videos back and a few minutes into the video said…”Cmon guys I got 30 people in here and only 13 likes, hit that like button, it helps the algorithm….”. And he seemed irritated about it. It’s ALL about the money. Nothing more, nothing less. And then when someone way down the road says “Well, it looks like you were just doing it for free shit and money this whole time” these YouTubers will say “Yeah, no shit Sherlock, what are you? A dummy?” Calabash is ENTERTAINMENT, his videos are undoubtedly listed under the category of ENTERTAINMENT. Just look at Oak Island. It’s a very similar thing, they do it for the MONEY. Paystreak is, and has always been, a complete clown. He’s a clown, he’s clowning. It’s ENTERTAINMENT. If someone seriously thinks he has ANY idea of what he’s doing, that’s pretty bad. Just like Calabash, it’ll go like this….”This is a high conductor for sure!” (Digs falsing iron). “Well sometimes you get fooled”. One Paystreak video he was like “This is a shallow nickel! Hear it? Hear it? Cmon baby be a ring!” (Digs out HUGE iron a foot+ down). “Well you get fooled sometimes, you cant tell….”.
When a YouTuber puts out several videos a day, or a week, they are doing it for the “views”…the “clicks”…the MONEY. Calabash raised enough money from his viewers to help buy him or BUY him an Equinox 900, I’m fairly certain. I don’t pay that much attention. I don’t pay a lot of attention to TNNS anymore either, he used to be “just helpful”, but now he has gotten to be something different….INSISTING that people pay attention to him and pay him some gratitude.
There is one sure-fire way to make most of these guys (and scantily clad middle aged saggy women) go the FUCK away, and that is for YouTube to take away monetization. They would ALL disappear overnight.

Thanks! I’m surprised how much of the finds were relatively shallow too. As you now know, the Equinox is an easy machine to operate and the results speak for themselves.

I was just telling someone that the other day. I even made a comment on one of his videos that he's making bank off of every subscriber. He said that's BS and I told him I know just about what your making as I have been researching YouTube stuff for a while now. He made the comment I just got 4 more GoPro batteries at $20 a piece and he was looking for some help. IT makes me sick to here someone asking his subscribers to donate when there sub is already making you money. As far as asking for more likes all that is doing is bumping up the YouTube algo so his videos will be suggested more often. I'm so done with that guy never really followed him but people were donating $$$ so he could buy a MC and he was over $1k and Minelab have him one and he took that money and bought a 900. Now he put out a video talking about how Minelab and XP and the biggest companies out there and they should be respected. All I got from that is I CB want more free detectors in the future......

Both companies are great I just so happen to like Minelab more but that's my preference as I have tried both. But anyone taking the time to learn either or both machines will be just-fully rewarded.....

Don't hurt their feelings! CD and TNSS are very sensitive of their feelings. To others' feelings, not so much. It seems they think that their opinion is the only one that matters. I will admit it is amusing to watch them whine and name call when other people call them out. On another forum, the posters were talking about pitching in together to get a Deus 2 for Keith Southern to test so they could get his opinion on it. (Keith said he already purchased one.) CD chimed in that if Keith needed help setting it up to let him know. Another poster said Keith probably knows how to set it up himself and didn't need CD's help. Others there voiced their agreement. Poor CD got all bent out of shape and started name calling other posters and denigrating the forum and told them to remove his name from the forum, just like he did here. I'm sure I wasn't the only one amused by his tantrum. It seems like the ones who dish it out the most are the ones who can't take it the most. lol

Smart people are aware of what they don't know. Lesser ones don't even consider that they might be missing something. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I don’t think Keith would need help setting up anything And yes, smart people ACCEPT THE POSSIBILITY THAT THEY MIGHT NOT KNOW SOMETHING….therefore, they are way more likely to branch out and explore those possibilities when they can. People who are in “a box” are limited by said box, but many find that to be comfortable. It’s OK to them that they don’t know, but they can’t progress. I actually think both TNNS and CD genuinely want to know more and are open to the possibilities, but the CONTEXT in which it is being presented (we are doing all this testing so watch this window) is being sidetracked by money/product. How is it determined who is a tester for these companies again? Is Paystreak REALLY a sanctioned tester for any company? Is he getting free stuff? I mean….HOW? And I’m glad CD finally got DanKOWski‘s name right, rather than saying DaNOWski. ALL of this is really a lesson to everybody…you need to be able to figure most of this out for yourself. Metal detecting is not black and white. Watch the usual suspects for light entertainment and perhaps a few general ideas, but much past that you need to do for yourself. Need help with basic setup on the D2? Watch Gary Blackwells videos for that.

I've been on the forums since the mid to late 1990s. Way before people started doing videos. This kind of thing has been around a long time. Some people are gullible and hang on every post by their favorites. And it didn't take manufactures long to exploit that avenue to their advantage. Some of these guys had big parts in development of detectors and proclaimed them to be the detector they had been waiting for...and just a few years later, don't even use said machines any more. I don't put much stock in what most people post...in text or video form. My channel is just little and even I've had offers for freebies if I promoted this or that. I don't trust any of them for that reason. Most of my videos were of actual hunts. I hate the test garden and nail test videos. Blah. The problem I actually had was local people. They were too lazy to research sites but would analyze every angle of my videos to look for recognizable features to find out where I was hunting, and then help themselves without permission. Lose a spot or two to that, and it don't take long to just stop doing videos.

I hate the test garden and nail test videos. Blah. The problem I actually had was local people. They were too lazy to research sites but would analyze every angle of my videos to look for recognizable features to find out where I was hunting, and then help themselves without permission.

I totally agree, was talking with a friend today about test gardens and above ground tests. Above ground tests can't replace or replicate that halo around those targets that took lots of years to form. The few videos I've done were letting people see what the screen was saying and how it sounded before putting my trowel anywhere near that target. Then dig and show what the target was after the fact. In ground targets and time behind the machine are about the only way to learn these machines. All the videos in the world won't replicate your ground and targets. Just get out and dig and learn.

Exactly. Getting out in the real world hunting grounds is where it’s at. Not scanning over ferrous and non-ferrous on a concrete pad.
