Detector stand extension Help?

I've been using this on my Ace 250 for the past couple of years and it works great. I have 3" more on the arm rest and the stand works great. It's cheap and easy to make. Try it, you'll like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Now that is cheap and easy looking. Looks like a rubber band holding the new stand to the old. Pretty loco cool and quick. Gets the job done is the main part
 
No the rubber bands are just to keep it from turning. (not really needed) The heavy duty plastic is held in place with the bolt that holds the the stand in place. You need to heat the the plastic and form it to the original stand as shown.
