Detector Poll...what do you use?..Garrett Only!!

Gti 2500,GTP 1350,Ace 250.And 2 non Garrett detectors.I have used the 1350 and 250 Ace very little.They are demo's

I use the Ace250, GTI 1500 and 3 non Garrett machines. The Ace has had the lion's share of use, followed by the GTI of late. I've put the Ace away for now, so that I can play with my other machines.
Although I bought a detector only recently, I'm starting to feel that 5 is too many, so I may cull 1 or 2 of my non Garrett's down the track.

I still have and love my Garrett GTAx-1250. I had the GTP1350, but got fed up with constantly having to press the pinpoint to make sure I was out of profile mode. I sought out a used GTAx-1250 since it was the same exact thing as the 1350, without the profile mode. That was 4 years ago and have been very happy with the 1250. I do use a Minelab Sovereign GT, and it works where I need it to work. I realized years ago you need two machines to fit all detecting needs. NO ONE! detector does it all.

Ace 250. Pimped out with all the coils, thick foam padding on the handle and
shaft above the control head. Yellow rain cover which stays on all the time.
I use a single ear bud earphone as the speaker, and it's clipped on the handle
above the controls. Have optional headlights if needed for night use.
Use an automax V2 in the hole.
Have no plans to upgrade anytime real soon. I find what I have is good nuff
for what I do so far. Having the extra coils is the main reason for that I think.
The 250 with all coils is pretty versatile and still not a whole lot of $$$ involved.
I forgot what I've got in all my stuff, but seems like the grand total was about
$430 ?? for everything I have, including the pinpointer. I got a pretty good deal
on it. I think $40 if I remember right. I bought it with the 250, and got a special
price vs normal.
That was $40 well spent. I'm totally spoiled on having a pinpointer.. And the
V2 has been good so far. Course, I'm careful not to abuse it too much.
It's a good pinpointer. Kinda bulky, but it works good.
Anyway, that's the lowdown..

i use the ace 250 for the tot lots-sports grounds-new coin hunting in parks & scouting old sites. i:v got two other detectors i use for other types of detecting.

GTI 1500

a GTI 1500 if I can ever get it back to the guy that borrowed it more than a year ago and always has a reason why getting together won't work :stars:

The Ace 250 is a tough one to beat when you bring someone along and want them to find stuff without hours of lessons.

The Ace always has its place! It is great for tot lots. The Ace makes a great loaner. My other detector can't get with in two ft. of the equipment.

GtI 1500

Infinium LS but I am looking at picking up a GTI 2500 with the treasure hound coils. Any one using the 2500 with the treasure Hound box coils.
