Detector for salt water beaches. . .

I had my SandShark in the sea for the first time yesterday. I have tried the Tiger and HH Wader on the same beach two months ago and found nothing. This time I had a bunch of coins in the area where gravel meets sand. In that place, both VLF detectors were useless and now I know why - the small gravel is sticking to the magnets in my scoop. I would bet any waterproof PI would work there, I just happen to have a SS and it works great.

I hope you are still reading this post for information and maybe you have bought your water machine.....as for me I was going to buy the Tesoro Sand Shark but I ran across a super deal on a used Sea Hunter Mark II that had been used one time and showed it....

I use my SH every weekend for about 6 to 8 hours each day. I will not say that it is any better than the Tesoro but I would not trade my SH for one. Last Sat. and Sun. I dug so many targets that I thought I was going to wear out the new T-Rex sand scoop..

I did not find gold but tons of cheap jewelry and coins and the normal trash.....Just to let you know how deep it will look for items....I dug a hair bret so close to 2 feet I could not believe it... I am not saying that the other PI machine will not do the same, but

When someone says the Garrett is not in the game, well he has either had some bad luck with Garrett or he just does not know for sure what he is talking about....Anyway, I hope you find a good machine whatever the name is on it....as I see it they are all

good and it depends on how you use it in a lot of instances...

Good Luck and God Bless,

Elton
