Detecting with my grand son.....

My oldest grandson stayed the night last night. I took him treasure hunting today. We hit a local park, and one other spot. Was just planning on him diggig clad, and whatever else popped out of the dirt. He's a little too small to swing the detector, so he ran the pinpointer, and helped dig. We both had fun. Totals were 32 cents, a shell, some bullet shells, and a fishing lure. Best find was a 1955D wheat penny. (His first) Plenty of bottle caps, foil, etc... which he tossed right in the trash can. He did take a short break on the merry go round. Memories made!
