Detecting since 1966

Hey George---thanks for the info. Yah, it was a great time to get into detecting, but you know, it still is good----and it will be good 100 years from now. People are now, and always will be throwing and losing their rings, along with everything else. There are coins and caches that are still very old waiting for someone to wave the wand over them. Can you detect all year long where you are? HH----Dan

Still cold here with some snow---supposed to start warming up next week. I was just thinking about how long I have been involved with detecting and how little I know; I've come to the conclusion that a person can do something for 40 years and really not have 40 years experience-----maybe they really only have 1 years experience, 40 times over; I've vowed to stay plugged into this forum and connect with others that are so much more knowledgeable than myself this next year. Thanks to everyone for all the great info.

No, the ground is frozen now!
Seems the hard core enthusiasts still get it done
with the right equipment and the right mentality
