Detecting Essentials

Ditto Rifleman!

... jump over a building in a single bound, more powerful than a locomotive, and all that!
Glory days...

I'm not as smart as I was then, either.

You can't be dumber than me. I've got an 18 year old son.

And his daddy is so dumb, it's embarrasing.

HH,

There is no remedy in short of not being around venomous snakes.
Being alert, cautious, and prepared would be first order in snake country. Proper snake boots and snake chaps / guards are a good idea.

An Extractor, if used immediately and properly, can reduce the venom injected if effective which can reduce the effects from the injection.
Immediately would have to be after gaining a safe distance from the snake preventing another bite, then properly attending the bite.
Of course remaining calm to control the situation is first order.

I only look at a kit only as an aid - first aid, then proper treatment would have to follow afterwards.
And I agree that ya just never know.

I have my share of back problems and pain and it can sure put me out of order at times. Back surgery is no walk in the park either.
I agree 110% - take care of it.......
