Depth question...

An interesting web page about depth testing. If you dig another test garden, maybe you can burrow horizontally to keep from disturbing the soil.

The GT is much better in trash than the Tejon...
I took the Tejon out today for the first time and our first stop was an old home site that neither of us had hunted before and it turned out to be a HEAVY trash site. The Tejon was useless there for me. After about 30 minutes of digging trash I switched to the GT and had a coin in under 30 seconds. I would have had a lot more but I immediately left the area and moved into the brushy area of the site. I am going to go back there with the GT. The Tejon seemed a little like a toy after being used to the GT but I need to remember why I bought the Tejon... for clean sites with relics... and for buttons! I want to learn both of them and use them both on relic sites to maximize my finds. The Tejon does seem to love small brass...

It ain't no Soverign though, I don't care what anybody say's...
