DeepTech Vista X First Week Finds

I've had a week under my belt with the DeepTech Vista X, and had two outings with it so far...well 3 if you count a quick 40 minute hunt when I got it to test it right quick before it started raining hard.

I took it out to two sites that I've beat up pretty hard, and I have to say that this may be my new favorite detector, replacing my F75 as king of my detector hill. Depth, separation, audio modulation, love everything about it. It might be perfect if it was on an F75 shaft, but that's my wish about every detector I've owned. In two days I found 3 rings (1 gold that I'm returning Thursday), 2 buffalos, 1 x 1918 merc, 1 silver pendant, 2 boy scout slides, and an assortment of clad and doodads. Some pics of the spoils. The pendant ended up being a vintage'ish piece, and the ring was in the dirt for 33 years.

I recorded all the hunts, will have it posted by tomorrow at Free State Metal Detecting . I don't have ads so I think it is ok to post that, but if not I will edit it out.

The standard coil was just right on the beach for me. Moving back to park hunting the 8" would be real handy.
