To be perfectly honest..most new detectors last two year releases are deeper than the XLT.. "Now that being said" I own an XLT and it does have it's place in the detector line up.. So I'm not trashing it.. small coil and a trashed park,The XLT pulls some good things out of the masked areas.. BUT Depth, "WOW" ..the Minelabs and many other brands are waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy deeper. Technology has advanced greatly.
