Decided I needed one of these for the beach.

I think this will make a great addition to detecting and keep me something cool to sip on while hunting the beach. As a bonus, it matches my Excalibur II.

Can you get caught for drinking and md'ing at the same time??? Better yet going to the beach and drinking- HUMMM may should be mandatory as to remove pull tabs and bottle caps.
Then life would be so boring. At least with DF I would have bobbie pins>LOL Let me know how you like it. I carry one 20 Oz screw cap soda with me most of the time.
Thanks for sharing

I wouldn't last too long with some margarita mix in that and trying to detect, but who knows you might just stumble on to something good.:detecting::rofl:

LOL you would look like the rest of the crowd at the beach then

Having hunted all day in 100 degrees then gone to work and collapsed from dehydration, I no longer hunt without my Camelback. The harness also provides an attach point for my "bungee thingy" which makes swinging that WOT coil alot more pleasant.

these packs work great at the beach for those long and hot days..use it well..
good luck

Absolutely,

Oh...it is a thermos device.....I thought it was a colostomy bag.......It kind of looks like it could be worn around the waist. Sort of like a Mankini.......

I have not seen one of the those on the Beach. Come to think of it I really don't know if I want to be scared It would be Male. OOOhhh ugly thought. Better yet could give it to the lady who had thong on backwards?????? It owuld be more fun to just watch her try toput it on. All those straps would take her two days to get that one on.

Camelbaks ROCK! Having a landscaping biz in the Texas heat for the last 10 years I can definitely vouch for the effects of dehydration! Mine goes with me hog hunting, fishing, cache hunting, beach, etc. etc. It just makes life too easy! Another item I really have taken a liking to is UnderArmour heat gear (loose). You'll still sweat but when the wind blows it feels like every breeze is a cool one. Those two things will keep you from feeling like you got run over by a bus at the end of the day!

I wear it under my bullet proof vest everyday to work and is sure makes it a lot more comfortable. 99 degrees today in the hot sun with a vest on is pretty tough.
