D2 scores crisp largie and mercury

I went out to the park near my home on the silver hill well I was swinging the D2 and found my first silver with it 1944 mercury,

One of my "wish list" items....the LC that is....I have found a few mercury's but less than a dozen. I'd pee myself if I found a large cent like that....smiles.

LC would make my day and change history out my way. I guess some kid in 1870s could drop one Grandpa’s old pennies from the early 1800s (now thats scary to dream about, Grandpa born in the late 1700s……)
