D2 Lower Rod Help

I am planning on replacing the lower rod for my D2 with a carbon fiber one. I just don't want the flex the stock rod has since I water hunt. Can someone verify that the Nokta Simplex/Legend carbon fiber lower rod will work/fit on the D2? Thanks!

I did buy that lower rod for my D2 but never actually followed through with fitting it to the D2 upper. What I've done instead is purchase from Steve's Detector Rods the whole carbon fiber frame/rods. It is awesome! The secure mount for the remote. The improved angle of the remote. The light weight of the whole set up. The ability to run the wire inside the rod for water hunting. The rigidity. Win win win.! Just purchase an additional lower rod to make it quick and easy to change coils.
