CZ70 Ground balancing question

Yeah, I've heard that too, on the positive GB, but whenever I've tried it I go back to "neutral" because it seems to work best for me. And I always hunt with sens at 4 because the machine will not false, whereas at 6 or better, mine will false regularly and I hate that. I've pulled an Indian head penny at 11 inches and other similarly deep small targets (minnie balls well over a foot) at that setting with the 10.5 inch coil, so I'm pretty confident you don't miss much by running at 4.

As for the ground balancing procedure, I posted that mostly for those that might be reading this thread and seeing "bobbing method, bobbing method..." and have never had a decent explanation of it. Somebody will read it and go "Oh, that's easy!"

Hi Mike,

I appreciate you posting that GB procedure, it definitely simplifies it. The CZ70 manual sure convoluted what is really a fairly simple procedure (kind of like telling you how to build a clock when you just want to know what time it is  ).

I tried a little positive GB when hunted Sunday, and I really didn't see any difference, and just switched back to neutral.

Thanks and HH,
Brian
