easy digging ,i'm sure there in florida!..350 years of history, and 350 years of trash makes for some verf at 2"y interesting hunting here in new england!.really can't find a better area of the country to detect..sometimes you find old stuff at 2"!..i HAVE done that in the past!..it has been my experience over the years of detecting here that MOST old coins are found at the 4 to 6" level on AVERAGE!..occaisionally,you can pop ww2 stuff at the 3" level depending on the site!..once in awhile you will pop a king george penny,or something older at the 7" level, however i have hunted all over new england, and most all of it ,in my experience has been popped at the 3 1/2 inch to approx.6 inch level!..very rarely do i get anything deeper than 7 of 7.5 " level!,and i am talking coins back to the 1600's or the 1700s not really sure WHY!.just know that those quoted depths are "dead nuts" accurate in MY experience!..the trash here is very disconcerting!..in my opinion,to try to hunt these areas with a cz3d is foolhardy, and an exercise in futility!..one is much better served with a cz5 in normal mode!..on the other hand, old picnic groves found with research, along with old church lawns may present some exciting hunting with the cz3d for the aforementioned reasons!..(h.h!)
