I got a question, I see alot of these tom tuned cz3d machined , made in Los lobos that say are tuned but Tom. Some say 10.5 inches, some say 12.1 inches, etc...here's my question, why would machines made by the same company not be able to be tuned pretty much identical within a half inch let's say?

If you google where were Fisher cz3 Ds manufactured…… Click on Curious about Cz detectors, A Detector Prospector forum thread . It talks all about where and why ?? what happened about tuning specs . great read !!! CZsone of my favorite analog detectors !

Variances in component tolerances that affect performance and are not tunable.

Mine came back 10.5….I still have another one I might send to him…CZ3D’s
