Soo.. Enlighten us as to what the 2 elongated pieces of lead are\were. Nice digs Tim, finally got some brass, congrats!
They're bayonet scabbard finial tips. I was told one is for the Springfield rifle & the larger one is for the Austrian rifle. At first I thought the larger one was a modern bullet.
