That emphasizes the correct answer to one of the most common questions in the detecting world: "What numbers are gold typically found on the TID scale?"
The answer of course, is, "Yes."

If it's a recovery, it helps a lot to know the size (mass). But if you're just trying to find gold rings, then focus more on location....and dig all the clean signals.
(Statistically, the foil and tab ranges tend to be the most productive.....but as the chart clearly shows, gold can be anywhere on the TID scale.)
