A small number of CTX 3030 units have shown a problem where they suddenly shut down unexpectedly.

My CTX should be here today and I'll load this up.

But my question to Minelab is - Why not write a patch for the more than a small number of headphones that won't work when plugged into the main unit? (Regardless of who is at fault).

Thanks,
Albert

The headphone issue sounds more like a hardware incompatibility between some headphones and the jack wiring. So it might not be addressable with a firmware upgrade.
