CTX and headphones.

Just got off the phone with Minelab, I do have a defective headphone module that has to be replaced. Unfortunately they will not send me a new one until I send the old one in. I use a periscope probe I'll be unable to use the machine until I get a new module.

Interesting. When I had a problem with the Koss30's plug shorting out, they sent me a new set No Questions Asked and told me to keep the old ones.

I'm having problem with the headphone jack on the CTX. Sounds like to me they're going to repair the old one.

I have heard many other people say the same thing about bad phones. Maybe they thought people were taking advantage of them? Maybe they are just getting cheaper?

You mean you will have to send in the CTX itself or just the small black part that sits on top of the unit?
