Copper day

Those large copper coins seem to come out kind of rough at best! Dug a KGII and some other copper alloy stuff today. KG doesn't look bad, but Britania is gone! The anchor-shaped adornment piece and key shank still attached to a key chain were fun to find! Some buttons and a fancy buckle topped it off to end the day. Good dig!

More fun trying to find the era of the finds and what they are!! Nice finds.

So, the piece in the top left corner is part of a spur. The ornate broken chunk looks like a piece of a very fancy buckle. The hooked piece appears to be a clothing fastener. JMO
Very nice finds!(y)
