Considering a V3i?

Maybe this will help you decide.

These coppers were all found with the V3i over the last 12 months. Many of them were over 10 inches deep.
 
Hey Neil do you give lessons! I sure could use some! I often get frustrated with my machine and sure could use someone to fast track me...I don't think I am very far from you. Please let me know!

How far is not very far?
 
Wow. That's a bunch of large cents. WTG! Ive dug some deepie large cents myself with my V3i and can say it has no problem nabbing them.
 
Nice finds Neil! And here I get excited to pull anything older than 1964! :thumbup:
 
yep that is awesome around here I am thrilled to death just to get an old wheatie LOL with those old coppers being that big the v3i should have no problem finding them deep. wtg

My last couple hunts with the v3i and was working like a charm. I found targets 10 inches deep and even if they sounded iffy like a target that sputters I just trusted the detector and never fooled me. It was all times true to what it sound out, I dug every target to see it and never was different for what I thought it should be. If you learn v3i you know if you have to dig or not. After all I want say that if you just hear the tones you know if it is conductive target or not, then if it is, you analyzing it and since you know what a good target should have, you dig it. I think you should not worry about the targets are can be found and not also about those they just can not. A hobby it is nice when you use your tool with it s capabilities.
