Coin Star today

I took my wife to Walmart to pick up a few things and heading toward the exit I stopped to check the coin star as I always do. I saw some coins in the tray but I also noticed about 10 dimes laying on the floor. All total there was $13.60 in dimes and 4 pennies.Two of the dimes were 62 and 64 silvers. I also got two 1 Pfennig coins, 1 10 Pfennig and the gold looking piece is a 5 Pfennig. Most of the dimes dated late 60s to the early 90s Only 3 were newer than 2000.

My wife walked away like she didn't know me just because I got down on my knees to pick up the ones on the floor!

Nice score I always check and often find silver spot out one time the tray was loaded with change it pays to check them!

Half the time I check coin star out it is empty or out of order

Whenever I think about checking one, it seems there are always 2 or 3 people in line waiting to use it......or check it. Nice going, that's a pretty hefty haul. Oh, and my wife would deny knowing me, too, in your circumstances. HH jim tn

You did well there, nice save of spending coins and the silvers!
I do the same, after shopping I can’t leave untilI I check that machine.This week I found 3.46 in mixed coins with a wheat cent and a merc.

They are usually near the customer service area at WalMart.

Value wise, this has been my best find at a coin star but I did get another haul last September that out weighed this one. $11.45 in assorted coins.
