Bayoubug said:Well... Here are some thoughts about the coil before it comes out... Just my observation... The football shaped Double D coils have a better degree of separation than the round Double D coils... I found this makes pinpointing easier... Another thought.... Coiltek has been around for a while and this is there break into the CTX 3030 game... They have been the only coil company so far to get dibs on this so I'm sure they are trying to set the bar high for other possible coil makers that might get a chance to partner with Minelab and their chip technology. I don't think Minelab is going to open that door to just anyone who wants to make a CTX 3030 coils.
Has anyone ever used the Coiltek coils? If so... what was your experience with them?
jimzilla said:Do any of you think pinpointing is hard with the stock coil? Everyone who has been out with me knows that I can pinpoint a target almost to the half inch. I think the stock coil pinpoints awesome, so does the 17" coil as well. I cant wait to start seeing the reviews.
