Donut, I think it should fit. The inside diameter of the cover is precisely 150mm. 153mm on the outside edges. The height is exactly 10mm. It's quite rigid but flexes ever so slightly when pressure is applied.

I took a 2 Liter Coke bottle and cut the top and bottom off.Then sliced it in the middle,laid the coil on it to flatten it out,trace it and cut to size.I then wrapped black tape around the side to hold it on.It works pretty good,but every now-n-then I have to replace some tape where it gets snagged and ripped a little.
