Found this pin in a reservoir, that was an old flooded town at one point. Can't seem to find it anywhere. Hope some one knows. Thanks in advance.

When posting pictures put something in the photo to ref size. If small enough a quarter etc helps, also the back of it helps. Could be a cereal box item but who knows!! Good find regardless.....Also, get yourself a good loupe like 10x power. Hopefully maker is identified on back but often hard to see if been in the ground awhile.

Hey Dugk44, fun find. At the link below, several hundred similar enamelled clown brooches from the early decades of the 1900's. Looking quickly through a few of the pages, did not find an exact match but many similar. Hope this helps.

Oh, right, size reference, will do. It is about the size of a quarter. Yeah, tried to see through a loupe, no luck either.

What type of pin and keeper it has can help in aging the pin.

That type of pin back has been around since the 1920-30's and still use today.
Cheaply made round hinge and separate C clasp.
The more modern (1950's+) machine made pins are made with a bar between the hinge and clasp to be soldiered on in one piece.
