This may or may not be of interest

Ive used a fishing ( fishin) vest while :detecting:
also treid the Garrett pouches i got from the dealer
when i got the GTI and the propointer

THe puches seem too bulky to me.. the vest is more
comfortable with lotsa pockets to put :pulltab:
and the occasional good find in...

I hang the propointer from a d ring and its right there
plus the pouch in back can hold snacks water etc etc

Just an idea on a rainy chilly day

Heres to a great season outdoors

Hi Ron,

Great idea on the flyfishing vest. I've been flyfishing warmwaters for years. A friend gave me a pretty
nice vest some years back. I really don't like it much for flyfishing, but it's a great way to store goodies
for a day of paddling or hiking. I've got a feeling it will be a great accessory for detecting as well. Thanks
for the tip. Warm regards, Jim

Yes sir!:thumbup:I often times wear a fishin' vest while 'tectin':garrett::detecting:Very useful indeed!:wiggle:Happy Hunting!:)

I too use the fishing vest, but along with the pouch. I tend to dig a lot of targets, which gets me a lot of junk and the vest just isn't big enough. I do use the vest for extra batteries, magnifying glass, special finds, bandages etc.
