Sovereign Elite, heck of a saga story to track down a 12x10! But IMO it's worth every ounce of effort to get one. I'm hoping you like this coil as much as I do, but I'm only just now catching up on posts to see who is liking the 12x10. Got several Emails from guys who got one in from Kellyco. Without naming names one guy said he used it in his yard and dug a silver dime he had missed over the years. No way of course to know if prior machines/coils would have missed that dime but he seemed happy by the sound of how hard he hit his yard prior times.
Another guy just told me he's very happy with the coil thus far but off hand I don't remember what else he had to say about it. Hoping as I catch up on threads here I see some field/opinion reports from people to their other coils. I love reading that kind of stuff.
I think this coil is the best coil I've ever used on a detector, in both depth, left/right separation, and stability. The somewhat improved coverage without being too big is also nice. It's unique shape sure makes it feel like this coil can work even heavy trash like a much smaller coil, combined with the super sharp DD line. Here's a tip- Wiggle the last few inches or so of the tip at a grouping of targets and it gets even sharper at slicing and dicing stuff. Amazing coil.
I'm envious of you being so coil rich!

I'm adding a 13" Ultimate and a 8" Tornado to my line up of coils when I get the chance here. The Ultimate when I want something "different" when working deep coins like I do with the 12x10, or of course to cover large areas even a bit faster than I can with the 12x10 in that respect. Not sure if either coil is deeper than the other yet but at least in air tests the 12x10 got a half inch more depth.
I've heard nothing but praise for the depth and separation of the 8" (7.25") Tornado. Some guys use that as their everyday coil and I've read plenty of stories of them pulling silver at pounded out "dead" public sites with it due to both depth and/or masking in heavy trash. Outstanding depth and yet a very small coil to max out length wise separation. Once I have these two coils in my line up I think I'll be good to go. Only thing I might be tempted to also grab is the 10x14 and the 4.5x7 coils, which I don't think they ever sold in the US. Have to also get my hands on a 14.25" WOT to see how it compares depth wise to the 12x10 and Ultimate.
Still testing out the loaner S-12 so not much to say on it yet. Have one initial testing video with it but needs to be edited before I post it. If I like this coil it'll replace my 10" Tornado as my water coil, because the 15x12 and 12x10 are too much drag in the water for me due to their shape. Not going to risk my Ultimate in the water to see how it does drag wise.
