Clad

Went to the school today and got 9.26 in clad with the f75. Hunted here when it was dry weather but it was been raining some here.

Often a little wet soil helps detecting and sounds like you a couple coffees worth of change! I noticed with my F75ltd that dry soil or drought messes with getting a good readings.

You now that makes you wonder if you make a test garden when it is wet the detector hits the coin but when it is dry it may not. A person may think the detector is bad?? What do you think.

$9.26 is a healthy clad outing. WTG!

There is probably a happy medium in there somewhere for optimum detecting between wet and dry ground, but wet ground does have a way of lighting up/enhancing everything metallic. Which, isn't always good, either. HH jim tn

There are some who say that silver can be found easier in dry soil verses wet soil. I have never tested this theory. $9.26 in clad is a good outing to stay in shape with.

Earlier we found it nearly impossible to hunt in saturated wet ground. NM added the M3 to tackle that and I’ve not tried it yet as we hit a heat wave here.

To my old ears there does seem to be a more distinct high tone ting on silver in dry ground. Un-fortunately, for the deeper hits its a lot of work and makes for a messy hole getting to it and then the brown spot a couple of days later. HH jim tn
