I would be concerned that with the button and the toggle you are running the risk of higher resistance in the circuit and losing depth.

The push button is being replaced with a toggle switch, no difference, both on/off switching.
Keith Southern has done many, many of the GB mods over the past 10 years as myself and others. Never an issue. Your just copying a feature Tesoro does on a number of their machines.

having done ground balance mod a while back i noticed one thing,if you balance toward the positive side..It will Hit Dimes very Hard, Sweet Mod ')

I'm new to site but not to detecting-I also see this is an old post--I recently bought a Cibola because guy just needed money--I'm a diehard nautilus user but you know that deal-like me a has been but I was actually impressed with the tesoro-question--is it worth putting the ground balance mod on or leave it alone?

depends on your ground and coil changes, Cibola is nice out of the box though.
