cibola question

7centsworth

Well-known member
Will the cibola with high tone give high tone on all objects or just high tones on coins? I am thinking of buying one .

Just because its a single tone doesn't mean it won't give you a wealth of info. that single tone will sound different over various metals.........

for instance.....smoother over Aluminum............it'll blip and break up over iron..... its surprising what you will learn to distinguish from a single tone

Not sure if mine is a low or high tone, but my spouse hears that particular tone well (hearing loss etc), so I will not change mine. The more I use the Cibola, the better I am getting about discerning the find before digging it.

It's only difference is the factory tone is boosted up to a higher pitch tone and cost something like 15 bucks for the high tone option. It does not add another tone. Some folks like the higher tone audio when hitting coins etc.

I was hoping it had at least two tones , as i like different tones. Thanks for all the replies.
