Thanks I really like my Cortez but it will soon be for sale because I simply can no longer see the display. I think I will hold on for the new detector. It is a shame that I have the Top of the Line detector made by Tesoro but I normally hunt with a 20 year old Golden Saber II because I can not see the display on the Cortez.

I'm still a very new Tesoro owner, just since the end of December. Of course I purchased the Compadre since it was the closest to what I knew, beep and dig. That little machine has been marvelous and provided lots of hours of fun. If the new unit is as simple to use and understand who knows maybe I'll look to upgrade. But frankly for the type of detecting I'm doing the Comadre fits me just fine.

Not asking for specifics, but will the Cazador be this year yet? Don't need any dates, but a simple yes or no would be great.
i would like to know this also definitely dont need any thing firm just a general not set in stone indication would be nice

This is very Exciting.....A new product can always be a game changer for a company. Look at what the 1260 did for fisher back in the day. I love Tesoro's and I have had many of them, but I have had many other brands too. I can see how it must be very difficult to please everyone, so picking certain features can be a tough gig. Wow so do you make a low freq machine that hits hard on old copper and silver coins deep in the old soil around cellar holes and parks. That has a two tone low grunt for iron and high tone for everything eles. Or 3 tone...... Or keep the signal tone but add a nice pull trigger pinpoint instead of the button. I love the small box design, but maybe have a new control box design that shows a slick new style where people see how technology and the times move forward as a company does. I have always liked the quality of materials you guys use, its feels good. How about the coil wire that runs in the shaft like the minelabs, I love that design. Do you have the tech for a multi freq machine. In 2010 I used a cibola for 95% of the year and was very impressed with my finds around cellar holes and parks. You guys make great machines so keep it up. check out the video

Thanks for the info.
