.... the dirt is so full of iron oxide you can literally pick up dust with a magnet. I attached a magnet to my Leash digger to more quickly isolate and pull out rusty nails from my dig holes. Had to get rid of the magnet because all the red dust kept accumulating / sticking to it and getting everything the magnet touched stained red.

The ground is SO BAD, imagine laying a quarter on the ground and then pouring a 5 gallon pail of rust flakes and particles over it, then try to find the quarter with your detector. Ask Elson, Bubba, Vernon, JigFlipper, Butch, Pam, and others who have detected there.

I have a spot like that also Ed, Only it's loaded with plinkers, not iron oxide.
I've yanked some mighty fine finds from there but man what a job !!!
