Couldnt resist the temptation any longer. Picked one up from a local dealer last night. I stopped on my way home to give it a short test drive. I did manage to find some clad and an indian head penny at 7 inches. This was really no big deal because I know there are still some good coins in the area I stopped at.

Made a quick video to give people that may not have one an idea of where targets come in at.

And according to several Minelab is behind in producing

I plan on making some this weekend. Hopefully I can get some footage of the multiple signals.
 
How in blue blazes does one dealer have stock after filling initial orders and other dealers have got zero units in ??

All this hype and some people got their units shipped from Minelab Chicago and arrive on the 28th-29th... then you have the other extreme that have heard zero about thier unit status (other than we are still waiting) on June 1st...

With all the marketing and rollout process they did... I'm getting less and less impressed by the roll out... Still love the company and their products... but don't get us so jacked up and frothing at the mough for product, then not have it available at the announced dates, Don't give units to some dealers and not others ??? I don't get it...

Thanks for the vid. You answered a question for me re same target id's as the etrac. I have Sabbish's book and will use it to learn for my 3030 for targets.

I got mine in the 29th, i called around until i found one. Bill, what sensitivity and other settings were u using? Also, I love your vids! You show the screen before u dig which is very helpful.
Looking forward to more!

Thanks Beyonder......I just had the detector set on the stock coins program and manual sensitivity set to 22. It was just a quick test to show the id info. I am hoping to get out this weekend and do some more tests. I may compare signals with the Etrac.
 
I imagine some dealers did not order a great many, some may not have actually ordered any for stocking...........

Even the dealers price would be a big investment X=$$ how may they buy.........
 
Paul, call the advertising dealers and ask them if they have any in stock. DeMarco is a good guy and last I knew he had some in stock a couple of days ago. I've also dealt with Indian Nations, nice folks there too. I don't know the other advertisers, but if they are advertising here dollars to donuts they are reputable.

There is no excuse for dealers not to have machines, unless they didn't order them when they were first advised they were being released. I think some dealers were not aware of just how significant an advancement this machine would be and maybe they took a wait and see approach, and then when they got around to ordering, they were out of stock.

+1 , Still waiting on mine with NO ETA.... pre-ordered on may 20th and paid in full.

Sure does suck to see these guys just walk in and buy a unit when they didnt even pre-order.

Yea... Would be nice to get my unit I pre-ordered and paid in full on may 20th.... the only answers I can get is "NO ETA"

I never pre order any detectors. I usually wait a while before I even decide to buy a new one. This was the only exception so far. Maybe you could get your money back and find someone who actually has one in stock........
 
Thanks interesting Video. Looks like it is more sensitive to high conductors for sure. Never have had to pre order a detector there are lots in stock around. I would be asking for my $ and be detecting instead of waiting. I just picked up a detector that folks have been waiting a long time on some 6 weeks with no delivery date in sight. Decided I wanted one and the next day found one and it is in route right now should be here soon. If you have the $ they are out there to be had. I went with something else right now but I still may have to have me a CTX one day going to let them get the bugs worked out first.
