Catch and release?

Really nice. I would love to find one like that with the dolphin head on each end. I was a submariner and our qualification insignia was a pair of dolphins flanking an early diesel boat from WWII era with bow planes rigged out. Guess what we call them. Anyway, really nice find, first one I've seen in gold. I have found one in silver that was similar but never gold. wtg. --Jerry
ps the dolphins I'm talking about are not the bottle nosed variety but the dolphin fish also known as Mahi-mahi and the insignia design actually goes back further than WWII.

Looks just like the sterling silver one I scooped .. er caught at the beach a couple of years ago. It wasn't big enough either. Wonder if it's an offspring of the one I threw back? :heh:

p.s. Congrats on the gold!

Very nice! This is one of the great things about our hobby. You never know what you are going to see in that next scoop! You will find more valuable rings but this one will stand out in your collection. HH!

And I've got some prime swamp land on sale this week. I could make you a great deal.
