Carrying case size?

Nebraska Newbie

New member
Does anyone know what case size I need for the Vision? I purchased a White's padded gun style bag from my local dealer and it is not quite big enough. It measures around 51 inches. The clerk said it would work well and be large enough for the Vision but the only way I can get it in the bag is to disassemble it. Any suggestions for alternatives? I do not want to have to put it back together when I go out. This is probably a "duh" question but since I'm brand new I need all the help I can get.

Thanks, Kathy

I am all for a longer carrying bag myself....That's the primary reason I don't use one.

As Jim said, shorten the rod and fold the coil up to the rod.

all the answers to your problem are right on The White's bag should hold the Vision just as well as the DFX. I all so made some mods to my bag or I should say my good wife did we added ties down about 11 inches from the top on the inside and on down near the middle of the bag so now my Vision with the 10" DD attached is in the bag with the 12" super tied 11 inches below and the 5.3 shooter just below that all my main coils the Detector and Wireless headset at the bottom of the bag everything is attached and nothing is able to bump around or move around to damage anything. We also added a 1 1/2 " brass loop to the outside top to hang the bag from a hook while storing or when traveling.
Have a nice day DFXDon

Some great ideas Don.
