Can you make out the train on this?

I dug this button up in a local park. It has an old steam engine on it, if you can make it out. There is nothing left of the back...just this flat piece. I suspect tht it might have been a coat button or some such thing.

Thats a neat one MrGee. I can sure see the train. pretty detailed. makes you wonder just what it did come off of.

Nice find Mrgee... for sure I can make out
the train.. I wonder if it might be an old
railroad token..

I'm in NE Wisconsin in the old timber country. At one time there were two major railroads coming through town for the timber and wood products. They're still there but not much used anymore. Probably came from there. I doubt that it is a token as it is very thin. Pretty sure it is a button front.

Nice button. You never know what you're going to find and that's what makes this hobby so interesting. HH
