I don't really have an opinion on any of the pictures - as long as there are pics I could care less if they're big or not :)

Nice finds once again! That's such a crazy looking area - it looks like a flooded river in the middle of nowhere - hehe.

Can you read the writing on that one ring? It looks military to me

Skully,
The bigger the better on the pics! Great finds! You must be tired. The picture of the lake does not look like a swimming kind of lake. Do you just find a lake and go for it? Or do you find a lake that has what appears to have a swimming area or beach? Isn't there 2 feet of silt in those lakes? If so how deep do you find your targets? Sorry for all the questions but I have been hitting a couple of fresh water sand beaches and just was wondering about the mud and silt in other lakes.

People w/ smaller monitors may have a problem because of the size. 10x14 is pretty large. Maybe 8x10 will fit more peoples monitors. Certainly 5x7 will... I personally like em BIG. I'm definitely not a fan of the new forum method of displaying the small photos.

You can click the photo itself that you wish to view in their actual size. I even encourage folks to upload even bigger or more detailed photos because I have increase the filesize allowed for photo upload after I had added the rescale to the forum code.

Forums only rescale them in posts so dial up users to be able to download post quicker and then choose which photos they want to view in bigger size by clicking on the photos itself one at a time.

The photos itself that are uploaded is never touched and left in their original state.

If the photos in post are rescaled then upper right corner will be an icon meaning that you can click on it to see the actual photo size but I will change it soon to make it more obvious that they can be viewed in actual size.

Hiya Bill,
I wasnt trying to create a stir, I just preferred the fact that I didn't have to click the images, and tab between windows to see the larger version of a photo. I preferred them inline. I saw that you had increased the allowable file size limit when the format changed. Maybe code can be added to preferences that would allow one to choose whether or not to display full size inline images? I know bandwith may also be a concern, so I do understand their may be other considerations. This is in no way a criticism, as I think this is one of the best sites as far as development/ design goes.
Best Regards,
Keith

I knew you weren't trying to create a stir, I wasn't sure if you knew that the photo can be viewed in actual sizes by clicking on them becasue I couldn't tell from reading your post so wanted to let you know.

That is next on the todo list to add a code in Control Center that folks can choose their own preference of having photos rescaled or override the scalers and have all photos displayed actual sizes in posts.

I did this is that lots of folks does not know how to resize their own photo to and always complaining that they couldn't upload thier photo being over the filesize restriction and to assist the dial up users opening the post more quicker than before.

Now days those newer digital camera are increasing in megapixels size that the filesize increases as well too per photos and folks just wanted to be able to click on upload button and choose a photo from their digital camera uploading it directly to their posts without having to transfer it to their computer and resize them to meet the filesize restriction.
