Buying new Excalibur

I have a 10 year old Excalibur 1000 and just resently purchased a Excalibur 2 800 and an Garrett Infinium. I'll let you know how it goes with the Infinium as soon as i get it. I've also owned a White's Surf PI. I swear by my Excalibur. You also have to realize that each detector has its good qualities and bad as well as areas that it will work good in and others not. I'll use my infinium at a particular beach because there isn't much trash and the sand is finer and deeper better suited for the Infinium. So it just depends on what you need it for. Hope that helps.

Ken

In my opinion: For the beach and surf = EXCAL! I have the Excal II 10" and love it. I may add an older Excal 800 to my arsenal soon.
