Bullseye 140 mm pinpointer

I'm still happily using my DFX with my original Bullseye 140 mm pinpointer. The pinpointer is now showing some issues with the button switch so does not fully engage unless I'm very careful with it. I've always liked this pinpointer, won't do much underwater detecting and will mostly use the vibrate function. Any recommendations for a replacement that will give me similar or better results with same ease of use?

If you are going to tear your PP apart and replace the switch, you want a micro SMD (Surface Mount Device) switch.
Available on the "auction sites". Price is around $2 for 10pcs.
The photo is an example, the particular type you need depends on what you find when you open it up.
You better have some soldering skills and a good iron with a small tip or else you will make a mess of your PP.

There are plenty of good pinpointers today that are better than the old Bullseye. My favorites are the TRX, FPulse, and any Garrett, especially the Carrot.
