Posted this on #1 find thread but thought I would catch up here.

Found a picture in a report by Carl J. Clausen “A Spanish Treasure Ship” on the Florida Museum of Natural History site.

Lucky, I had used a modern version long ago plus I had read everything I could find about the Treasure Coast and stared at the pictures till my eyes bled. (We don’t have many inland sites nearby). Then I just had to remember where I saw similar. And that was the hard part haha. Thanks fwcrawford, HH

Great find, FS!! This piece probably has a lot more significance than a lot of finds we have seen on
here, in my opinion. Really outstanding!! Congrats!

Thanks okie and nauti, very good point. By November 2021 this area will be covered by sand pumping so it’s a bit of a race til then. HH all
