Bounty Hunter pinpointer. Anyone have one? What do you think?

Huh, that an easy fix capt? Will I have to do some soldering? That might be all that is wrong with mine. I had to hit the button about a dozen times for it to work towards the end, more effort than it was worth, and it finally just quit working all-together.

Well, my second Cen-tech has gone completely kaput now.

open it up and see if the wires came off if so just solder it back together.

It was not difficult but it was a little tedious. I attached wires about an inch long to the toggle switch first, then took the 4 or 5 screws out of the pin pointer and took off the cover, removed the old switch and twisted the wires from the circuit board and the toggle switch together. Put the cover back on with the wires leading out of the hole where the old switch used to be and put the screws back in. tape it in place being careful to NOT cover the little speaker hole in the cover housing. Mine works like a charm! Good luck.

Well, you were right, it was the switch, the wires were still attached but when I took them off and touched the wires together she lit right up. I think I might go with a toggle switch also, and a little extra wire will probably be necessary, tedious is right, everything is so small. Glad to know I can get it working again, thanks for your help!!
