Bought a DD coil already - opinions?

Actually that frequency (18.75kHz) is what you'd want for a saltwater beach. I would however suggest that you turn the 10.5" coil around for her. It tends to be a bit nose heavy, and turning it around helps move the weight back which balances it better.
Other options would also include the 5x10" HF DD, or the 6" HF DD.

Thanks Longhair, she already has the HF oval and I got her the HF 6" a while back when she moved to New Mexico for water and trashy areas. I had thought the 18.75 was the better option for salt water but noticed so many posts about how great the 7.5 KHz coil was I thought I'd better check. Reversing the coil and putting it on the Anderson carbon shaft might help some. Best of the season to all and good hunting.
