Boring old hunt.

Lots of clad. One wheat cent. Junk ring. A cool 13 pendant. 13 is one more than 12. I don't know exactly what that means but I'm trying to figure it out. A coin from Ireland. I've been having these happy little coincidences all day and this seems to be another. My mind began to meander around after finding that so I headed home.

I love those Irish coins! There's something so pure and romantic in having a harp on a coin. I think it's a pretty instrument (to look at), but also, I believe it is the most beautiful sound of all instruments. I really understand the fantasy of angels playing them. Can you imagine if we were told angels play tubas? LOL

I know it doesn't have much monetary worth, but it's interesting finding one in a small town in New York state. Who could have left it there, I wonder? Curious.

The "13" pendant is interesting too. A gift for a girl turning 13, I suppose? I remember how important jewelry was when I was that age.

I never made that association! It's not silver, or gold, BTW.

Hey russkiĭmedvedʹ! Always happy to hear from you. ;) Sometimes it's not the loot, it's the journey. Today it wasn't the loot, although I am very fond of that Irish coin. I came up with two new good ideas for that other hobby of mine. One's pretty different for me. Call me sometime! :cheekkiss: I've been working on my English!
