With a major low tide at sunset i got out around 5PM till dusk,Lots of beach and sandbar to detect...Started out on the sandbar that was all dry land ,found the silver chain and cheap toe ring...tried the gulf side of the bar with no results,so into the trough between the beach and the bar...got most clad ,hoop, and fishing items there....out of the water and hunting along the lowest of the low tide mark i was hitting tabs, tops and crab trap pieces till i got the ring...biggest gold I've ever found..19.2 g..WOW...4 middle stones are blue, with 4 small stones around it.Mark inside ring is a horseshoe 617....750....what is that? Good Luck HH bob.oz

What machine did you use? How did it sound. Not sure about marks...but im sure its gold...just made in a diff country. Looks quite like 18k to me. Take to jewelr and have em grade it. Don't let em stop at 14k test either. They try sometimes and buy it and its 18k...

Wow, what a once in a lifetime find. It looks old based on the pitting and I'm very surprised that the stones are still intact. Congrats.

750 mark = will test 18 k. Gold ... At 1600. oo dollars plus spot Gold prices = it's worth over 700.00 bucks .
